Responding to post (messaging)
Your inbox is for private communication with other Krrb members. It's like email or Facebook, but with custom features just for Krrb.
Messages are primarily intended for communications around a post with the end goal of a face-to-face transaction.
Please use caution, common sense and most of all, your gut, when giving out personal information to others.
If you don't like a post, don't respond. No need to be a jerk.
Don't flame. If you are annoyed, upset or frustrated, please stop and think. Remember there is a real person with feelings on the other side. Positivity will help you get what you want.
Do not use messages to send unsolicited advertising, promotions, requests for donation or spam.
Do not contact anyone who has not asked to be contacted.
You cannot contact another member to buy or sell an item not listed on Krrb as this may constitute fee avoidance.
If you send too many messages too quickly to one or more members, your account may be auto-disabled.
Krrb is a venue, not a retailer; Krrb's role is to connect people online in order to make an offline face-to-face transaction. This means when you message another member you are entering into a direct transaction and personal relationship with that other member.
A transaction is started when a member "responds to post" and is accepted when both parties agree to meet face-to-face and completed when both parties actually meet face-to-face and a fair and mutually agreed upon exchange is made.
Communication is key to a smooth transaction. Both parties must be clear, honest, transparent and kind throughout the transaction.
Both parties may end a transaction at anytime before the face-to-face exchange. But please don't waste each others time.
If money is exchanged, the seller is responsible for their own bookkeeping and paying taxes, if applicable.
Seller is required to give a receipt, if the buyer demands it. Buyer must make this request before meeting face-to-face.
Dissatisfaction with an item or service
Buyers beware. Buyers assume the risk that the item exchanged might be either defective or unsuitable for your needs. However, this does not shield sellers who engage in Fraud or bad faith dealings by making false or misleading representations.
Krrb encourages all members to resolve their own disputes. As a venue, Krrb cannot mediate disputes between members or other parties.
If have been a victim of fraud or a bad faith dealing, contact your local authorities and please inform us so that we can take appropriate actions on Krrb.com.
